Sandhill Investment Management is seeking a dynamic and experienced Investment Advisor to join our growing team based in Buffalo, NY. As an Investment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a book of clients, providing financial guidance, creating comprehensive financial plans, and contributing to the growth of our firm's presence in the community. Our firm focuses on serving high net worth individuals as well as managing institutional assets such as Endowments and Foundations. Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a book of clients, including high net worth individuals, families, and institutional investors such as Endowments and Foundations.
• Conduct thorough financial analyses, assess clients' investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situations to develop customized investment strategies.
• Meet with clients regularly to review their investment portfolios, provide financial advice, and address their questions and concerns.
• Create comprehensive financial plans that align with clients' goals, incorporating investment strategies, retirement planning, and risk management.
• Monitor clients' portfolios, review performance reports, and make necessary adjustments to ensure alignment with clients' goals and market conditions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including client service, research analysts, and operations to deliver exceptional client service and achieve clients' objectives.
• Actively participate in business development activities, networking events, and community engagement initiatives to expand the firm's presence in the local market.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of client interactions, investment recommendations, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFP (Certified Financial Planner), or similar credentials are strongly preferred.
• Proven experience as an Investment Advisor, preferably in the financial services industry, with a track record of building and maintaining a book of clients.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio management strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to think critically.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present complex financial concepts to clients.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including portfolio management systems and financial planning software.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical and compliant business practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
