Prepares investment reports and analyses on investment opportunities or strategies to identify trends and recommend actions for the organization. Additionally, Investment Specialist utilizes mathematical formulas and statistical analyses to identify potential or alternative investments and calculate and evaluate financial health, returns, and fair value of securities, assets, or other investments. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Investment Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Description
The Investment Operations Associate is responsible for aiding private wealth advisors in client service operations, including onboarding, and maintaining client accounts, trading, reporting, and portfolio administration, for a FINRA-registered broker dealer and an SEC registered investment advisor that provides asset management services to financial advisors and their clients. As the primary point-of-contact for client requests (money links, ACH, wire and check requests, journals, account updates, etc.),this position acts as an intermediary between the clients’ private wealth advisor (acting on their behalf and providing concierge servicing). To best serve our clients and our company, the ideal candidate will enjoy helping people, have a high attention for detail, possess critical thinking skills - able to work through various, sometimes complex, issues to best resolution, with a proactive, positive can-do attitude, and a willingness to take initiative and offer suggestions for improvement. This position will report directly to the VP, Operations.
