Investment Specialist jobs in Springfield, MO

As an Employment Specialist you will:

• Provide case management and career counseling to adult and youth customers.
• Determine WIOA eligibility and accurately complete required documentation for enrollment.
• Provide comprehensive case management and follow-up to ensure positive outcomes and goals are met as required by contract.
• Provide individualized basic skills assessment and identify employment goals based on career interest, ability and personal development considerations.
• Build one-on-one working relationships with adults and youth to assist in mitigating challenges to obtaining and retaining employment.
• Provide consistent and comprehensive case management follow-up and retention services.
• Document al participant contacts and activities in case progress notes.
• Enter all employer information and employer contacts into appropriate systems and monitor employer activities.
• Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Ensure that positive outcomes and goals are met as required by contract.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Career counseling experience.
• Experience working with people with development disabilities preferred.
• 1-3 years sales or business experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
• Demonstrated telephone, computer, and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Works, Human Resources, or related area preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Valid Driver's License and an automobile are required.
