Provide specialized security support in administration of security processes and procedures in accordance with DOD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3.
Process and administer personnel security records via Government security systems such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles in accordance with the 32 CFR, Part 117, NISPOM.
Prepare courier cards / letters. Perform scanning and duplication of various security documents and other program documentation, filing of documents, and maintaining of hardcopy and electronic files of program documents.
Conduct destruction (shredding / burning) of classified materials and main all document destruction records. Provide accounting and controlling of all documents and data transfers, to include the assigning of document control serial numbers, maintaining document control records, issuing of bar codes, conducting document inventory and audits, the preparation and processing of receipts, the preparation of materials for transmission and wrapping documents and / or packages for delivery.
Support the development of Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide specialized expertise for all security programs, to include information security, personnel security, physical security, communications security, TEMPEST, and computer security.
Process and manage SAP Pre-Screening Questionnaires (PSQ) and Program Access Requests (PAR)RequirementsBased on SSO approval and workload requirements, the following security related courses and other courses as identified by the Government will need to be completed : ICD 704 Personnel Security Course (40 hours)ICD 705 Physical Security Course (40 hours)Special Security Officer Course (SSOC) (40 hours)SCI Overview Seminar (20 hours)Establishing & Operating an Insider Threat Program (24 hours)Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in an administrative role in a security environmentFour (4) years’ experience working in an administrative role in a security environmentPreferred an Associate degree or specific training
Possess specific experience and demonstrated understanding of the following security operations : Knowledge of OPSEC, personnel, industry, physical, IT / IA, and information security principlesPossess a working knowledge of Government and Industry Security regulations and contractor clearancesPossess experience using DISS and Scattered Castles personnel clearance databases
