TITLE: Director of Communications and Community Relations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, or related field
- Two to four years experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field, preferably in an educational, non-profit setting
- Demonstrated experience in crisis communication and media relations preferred
- Must be able to work occasional weekend or evening hours and travel between school buildings
REPORTS TO: Superintendent
JOB GOALS: Responsible for developing, implementing, overseeing, and updating the District’s communication and public-relations programs and developing strategies to increase awareness, understanding, and support for the District's vision and goals
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: The terms of employment, including annual salary, work schedule, and other conditions, are subject to the Act 93 Administrative Compensation and Retention Agreement.
