Investor Relations Director directs and oversees an organization's investor relations function. Communicates with shareholders and/or the general financial community to develop and maintain positive relationships. Being an Investor Relations Director implements strategies to ensure the organization's relationships with shareholders reflect positively on the company's stock price. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investor Relations Director typically reports to top management. The Investor Relations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. DUTIES: Conducts investigative work regarding complaints filed with the Commission. Interviews complainants and respondents, performing conciliatory work and other related tasks. . Intakes, drafts and notarizes formal complaints in Housing and other areas as required. Prepares Final Investigative Reports, conducts Fact Finding Conferences, On-Site Investigations, Witness Interviews and Conciliation Conferences. Maintains and files all documentation concerning discrimination cases in a confidential manner. Maintains a continuous case load and is required to meet quota on the number of cases produced per month per designated measurement period. Prepares Monthly and Quarterly reports and Case Flow Sheets. Keeps abreast of all new laws and cases concerning discrimination and civil rights-some travel required. Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of educational experience or academic pursuit equivalent to a Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Sociology, or a related field OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the same fields plus three (3) experience in the area of civil rights. Knowledge of the principles, purposes, and practices of Civil Rights Laws and the Human Relations Commission Ordinance and Rules and Regulations. Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely orally and in writing. Knowledge of PC, business machines, HUD-HEMS System and EEOC-ARC System.
