What You’ll Do
As the Director of Public Relations at Kizik, you will serve as the architect of our brand's public perception, leveraging your expertise to shape and refine our image to the public. You will be at the forefront of our mission to not only maintain but also elevate our brand's reputation, creating meaningful connections with our target audiences and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Develop and manage the overall PR strategy for Kizik, including media relations and communication of key brand moments, events, and product launches

Serve as the liaison with multiple departments, third party partners, and marketing team ensuring PR communications strategy is accurately reflected and driving an integrated approach

Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive media coverage.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the success of PR campaigns. Provide reports and insights to the executive team.

Oversee the creation of press releases, articles, and other PR collateral to effectively communicate brand stories, product launches, and achievements.

Create and refine consistent brand messaging and communication materials to ensure a unified brand voice.

Plan and execute PR events, product launches, and promotional activities to engage with customers, partners, and the media.

Represent the company at community and professional events
Who You Are
-
7 to 10 years of experience in a public relations capacity; managing people and working with teams
-
Ability to embody the Kizik personality and be a key voice for the brand

Significant experience developing and executing a consistent approach and framework across external communications efforts and channels with measurable results

Articulate, strategic, and pragmatic problem-solving skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Experience with strategic PR planning, measurement/evaluation, and analysis

Existing media relationships, or strong track record of cultivating and maintaining media relationships

A team player who is highly motived, collaborative, and a driven self-starter

Ability to manage multiple projects and efforts

Strong communication skills, including written communication, combined with business acumen

Strong problem solving, project management, and organizational skills
