What would you do exactly?

• Conduct regular walkthroughs to inspect units and ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Perform perimeter walkthroughs of the facility to sweep and clear trash/leaves.
• Empty trash bins throughout the premises and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Remove abandoned items and debris, relocating them to designated dumpster areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas, including green spaces and parking lots.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms on a regular basis.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean elevators by vacuuming carpets, wiping doors, and sanitizing light panels.
• Sweep and clean sidewalks to ensure a tidy and safe environment for occupants.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dumpster areas, disposing of trash as needed.
• Clean stairwells to remove dirt, debris, and any potential hazards.

What do we need from you?

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Must be able to read and interpret basic maintenance instructions, directions, government requirements, and labels in English and must possess the ability to write simple reports, use a computer, and present information to supervisor.
• The job requires working weekends and holidays as needed.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
