Position Summary

Provides janitorial/housekeeping services on a daily basis at designated sites.

Essential Duties

(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)

1. Maintains a clean environment by performing daily and scheduled tasks as required by the contract. 

2. Tasks include but are not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, emptying trash and replacing can liner, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping and glass cleaning.

3. Monitors the use of supplies and request additional supplies as needed using a ‘just in time’ inventory system. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

• High School Diploma / GED not required.

• Previous experience is helpful but not required. Will train.

• No professional certifications are required for this position.

• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.

• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check. Additionally, must be able to pass a federal background check as required.

• No computer skills are required.

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions

• The associate is required to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

• The associate works in a moderate work environment with occasional exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).

• The associate may be required to provide assistance with snow removal.• The associate must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.
