Janitorial Supervisor supervises the cleaning and maintenance of buildings/facilities. Trains and supervises the custodial staff to maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation. Being a Janitorial Supervisor orders, stocks and replenishes supplies, and provides the tools and equipment needed to perform required maintenance. May require a high school diploma. Additionally, Janitorial Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Position Summary
Leads multiple crews on various shifts at larger customer sites or smaller multiple sites. Responsible for
meeting customer needs and exceeding customer expectations. Provides guidance and related instruction to the site Crew(s), works with management to support and communicate staffing issues/changes and oversees that site work is performed safely and effectively. Completes daily quality control inspections to ensure the work meets customer requirements and company standards. Acts as the customers point of contact for site. Work may be performed in business off hours including evenings. May support Site/Area Manager by participating in crew position interviews.
