Janitorial Supervisor supervises the cleaning and maintenance of buildings/facilities. Trains and supervises the custodial staff to maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation. Being a Janitorial Supervisor orders, stocks and replenishes supplies, and provides the tools and equipment needed to perform required maintenance. May require a high school diploma. Additionally, Janitorial Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. We are looking for a person to take care of our factory building on 2nd shift (3pm- 11pm), which is located in Albion, IN, and carry out cleaning and maintenance. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean floors and rooms, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows
- Clean restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean cafeteria and sanitizes
- Set up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
- Clean factory floors with riding sweeper and riding floor scrubber
- Monitor and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas

- Ability to operate floor scrubbers(Riding Machines)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
