Janitorial Supervisor supervises the cleaning and maintenance of buildings/facilities. Trains and supervises the custodial staff to maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation. Being a Janitorial Supervisor orders, stocks and replenishes supplies, and provides the tools and equipment needed to perform required maintenance. May require a high school diploma. Additionally, Janitorial Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. - Timely and factual communication with appropriate contract, GCD and OTC staff.
- Timely completion of required paperwork such as vehicle inspection checklist, time study related paperwork and other pertinent documents.
- Transport individuals with disabilities to and from various work/contract assignments throughout the work shift.
- Assists in the performance of time studies for client staff.
- Reports any needed maintenance of vehicles.
- Follows cleaning schedules and completes assigned work.
- Report all deficiencies, personnel incidents, property damage or other significant events to Project or Assistant Project Manager.
- Maintain quality control of all assigned buildings.
- Maintains key control of all issued keys.
- Monitor employee work attire
- Transport individuals with disabilities to and from various work/contract assignments throughout the JBMDL.
- At times or as needed, transport individuals with disabilities to and from work.
- Must be able to drive a 12-15 passenger van.
- Able to work various shifts/weekends.
- Perform any other assigned duties required by Project/Assistant Project Manager related to regulations outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Shifts Vary- 7:00am-3:30pm and 5:00pm-1:00am
