As part of our dedicated team, you will be work in migrating a legacy application to Spring Boot, with a primary focus on the Java/Spring Boot part. Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with a specialized machine learning team, contributing to the seamless integration of advanced predictive models into the OptiFlight system.
Purpose: As a Java Developer for the OptiFlight project, you will be part of the development of the application, including the migration of our legacy Java application to Spring Boot. You’ll work in a full stack team, containing Java and Angular developers, and you will collaborate with machine learning team to ensure that predictive models are successfully incorporated into our cutting-edge system.
What will you do:
Develop, maintain, and optimize Java/Spring Boot applications for the OptiFlight project.
Collaborate within the full stack team to ensure a unified user experience.
Support the migration of the legacy application to Spring Boot.
Participate in the technical discussion for new features requested by the product owner.
Interface with the machine learning team to enable the integration of predictive models into the OptiFlight system.
Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
