Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service/Barista. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries or concerns
- Take customer orders and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Prepare food items according to customer specifications and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations
- Provide accurate information about menu items, promotions, and special offers
- Address customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the food industry
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Proficiency in operating cash registers or POS systems
- STRONG math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change
- EXCELLENT communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service
- Flexibility to work in a FAST-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs
