We are looking to add an experienced LabView Test Engineer to a long-term project engagement with a well-known industry leader in the Residential, Industrial, and Commercial climate control domain. This role will have a direct impact on the design and manufacturing of state-of-the-art heating and cooling systems for high-tech applications such as data centers and alternative energy production.
This group designs their own power electronics controls systems 100% in-house. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about system design and integration in a progressive environment where they can learn a lot of innovative technology solutions.
This role will be onsite at our customer facility in New Freedom, PA and will come with a comprehensive benefits package as well as PTO and Holidays
Responsibilities
- Develop LabVIEW applications for data acquisition, analysis, and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions.
- Utilize IT infrastructure knowledge to optimize system performance.
- Support system design, manufacturing processes, and debugging activities.
- Utilize laboratory experience to ensure the reliability and accuracy of software solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
· The ideal candidate will be a Sr Level Individual contributor in the LabView space
· They should be able to demonstrate the ability to solution and execute independently
o This includes LabView system design and guidance on purchasing components
o Understanding of the entire LabView stack
o Able to document and comment on the code and produce LabView applications in a timely manner
· Sr level individual contributor:
o CLD certification is nice-to-have
Requirements
· B.S. in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
· Sr Level Individual Contributor experience in LabView
· Experience with DQMH Framework
· Experience with LVOOP (LabView Object Oriented Programming) and NI Test Stand
· Ability to engage with a team and key stakeholders effectively
· Ability to debug using lab equipment such as an oscilloscope or multimeter
· Ability to work independently
