WHAT WE NEED:

We are hiring an AI Developer to our team. This is a hybrid position that will require regular onsite work at our IT office in Muscatine, IA.

As an AI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-based solutions to solve complex business problems and enhance our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop algorithms, and integrate AI capabilities into our software applications.

THIS ROLE INVOLVES:

• Writing clean, well-structured, and scalable code using Python, R, JavaScript, and other AL-library rich languages.
• Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, implementation, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for AI solutions.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing software applications and platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Document code, algorithms, and processes, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Integrating APIs and web services to enhance application functionality.
• Documenting technical specifications and project details.
• Conducting testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.
• Assisting in the optimization of applications for scalability and performance.
• Contributing to code reviews and providing constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in developing AI-based solutions, Generative AI model, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C#, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms and AI cloud accelerators (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Google Vertex AI, Azure Open AI) and distributed computing is a plus.
• Familiarity with software development practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.
