Your Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in connecting GHG with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and building lasting relationships. You will leverage your analytical skills to conduct landscape take-offs and provide accurate, professional estimates, ensuring our growth strategy's success.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop a Sales Plan with your GM or VP of Sales, to be reviewed regularly
-Create opportunities by identifying client objectives and needs and develop customer-centric solutions.
-Ability for independent evaluation of sales and got to market strategies
-Attend staff meetings regularly to keep GM & Operations team updated on current sales pipeline and high probability jobs.
-Develop and maintain a customer database of key information on target clients within existing CRM system.
-Drive sales process from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation & successful conclusion of new business opportunities.
-Follow up with prospects at agreed upon intervals.
-Meet or exceed established new sales budgets.
-Attend networking and marketing functions on a regular basis (sometimes after hours).
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal and follow-up skills.
-Prospect for profitable commercial maintenance opportunities within the GSP market.
-Experience in successfully building relationships and influencing key decision-makers

- Utilize Aspire & Property Intel for data tracking, site take-offs and bid estimations.
- Cultivate relationships, creating leads for new business opportunities.
- Facilitate field measurements take-offs for accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with clients to determine service frequencies and specifications.
- Generate contracts, review proposals, and work with clients and prospects to develop solutions
- Manage estimating workflow to ensure timely, complete proposals.
- Review RFP’s, plans, and specs to identify scope and production methods.
What We Seek:
- A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, Horticulture, Business or another related field. An associate degree or equivalent experience is also considerable.
- Extensive knowledge of landscape installation, landscape maintenance techniques and production rates, and horticultural best practices.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Aspire.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
-Must have a strong ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
