Role Summary:

NO PREVIOUS JEWELRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

The Nomadic Jeweler is looking to expand its Asheville/Hendersonville, NC team. We are seeking an individual to fill our part-time contract (1099) position as an “event jeweler.” As an event jeweler on our team, you will have the opportunity to attend fun local events with businesses, festivals, and private celebrations within the community. You will focus on offering customers and local business partners a positive service by providing a tailored and memorable jewelry experience.

Our GOAL is to provide each client with a unique, tailored, and memorable experience!

Responsibilities:

• Complete the provided in-person training covering client engagement, welding equipment usage/troubleshooting, jewelry sizing, safety protocols, and FAQ’s.
• Collaborate with the team lead to establish your event schedule for the upcoming weeks and months.
• Managing individual transportation to events.
• Arriving at the event space on time and setting up The Nomadic Jeweler booth.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Managing inventory and transactions in the point of sale system (POS).

Qualifications:

We are looking for a personable individual who wants to be a part of our collaborative team!

• A passion for creating unique and memorable experiences for clients.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Schedule management (self-organization and clear team communication).
• No previous experience as a Jeweler is required!

Requirements:

• Located within 30 minutes of Asheville/Hendersonville, NC.
• Availability to work a minimum of 4 weekend events per month?
• Ability to work on weekends and weekdays (you will have flexibility in your schedule).
• Reliable means of transportation.
