We are seeking a Jeweler to join our team. As a Jeweler, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing various types of jewelry. Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble jewelry pieces according to design specifications
- Repair damaged jewelry by soldering, resizing, and replacing stones
- Set gemstones into settings using various techniques
- Polish finished jewelry to achieve a high-quality finish
- Inspect completed pieces for quality control purposes
- Collaborate with customers to bring their vision to life
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as pliers, files, and saws
- Familiarity with power tools used in jewelry making, such as polishing machines and laser welders
- Ability to fabricate and assemble jewelry using various techniques
- Knowledge of gemstone setting methods
- Experience with soldering and resizing jewelry pieces
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to operate a forklift for material handling in a warehouse setting (if applicable)
