Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Looking for a very capable GRADING FOREMAN who will READ PLANS, complete DAILY LOGS, present weekly SAFETY MEETINGS. The right Candidate will be accountable for the safety and productivity of the entire talented dirt crew.
Must have experience running a site crew, daily logs, allocating resources on the job site, safety, working with inspectors, Public Works jobs, documentation. Experience installing and repairing underground utilities to include Sewer, Storm, Water.
Job Location - Varies throughout Northern California
Main office located in Redding, Ca .
Ability to travel to job sites is a must.
Must be able to pass a Pre employment physical/drug test to sign-on.
