Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. SUMMARY: The Frame Department is responsible for assembling and building all wood furniture frames to proper specifications. Frame Builders are responsible for the manufacturing of wood furniture frames, ensuring all work is to proper specifications while maintaining production schedules.

This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work long hours as business needs require. Typical shift times are 8 hours per day but may be modified based on production and staffing needs.
