Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. What does the Quality Control Technician do?
· Performs assigned routine tests on materials, goods in process and finished goods.
· Rejects parts and marks type of defect on part, container, or inspection tag.
· Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams, and confers with management or engineering to determine quality standards.
· Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process to verify dimensions and/or product performance. Responsible for UL testing.
- Verifies correct raw material type.
- Responsible for RGA paperwork and dispositions materials accordingly.
- Completes sample part orders and other special orders.
We expect you to:
· Performs detailed visual inspection to determine quality of product.
· Notifies supervisor and production when product does not meet specifications.
· Responsible for physical UL testing. Reports results from testing and enters testing data into databases.

Skills we would like to see:
· Minimum one year of quality control experience in manufacturing environment
· Must be able to use gauges and testing equipment (tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
· Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
· Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing); bilingual is a plus.
· Must be able to perform physical demands such as lift up to 20 lbs, walk, reach, hold, control, stoop, crouch, climb and balance.
· Available to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime.
Pay rate will be based on experience, skills and job knowledge
