Jig and Fixture Builder jobs in Olympia, WA
Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Work in a fast-paced , repetitive production environment
Knowledge of and ability to use motorized and non-motorized production equipment
Must be able to lift and carry frequently up to 50 lbs
Work in an environment that safety comes first
Must be able to use a tape measure.
Be punctual and reliable, able to work overtime hours as needed and Saturdays
Production Assembler Shift Info
Swing Shift, 01:30 pm to 02:00 am
Monday - Friday
Production Assembler Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
Must be able to walk thought your shift
Able to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Basic math skills
Available for shift work
Production Assembler experience preferred
Able to work in the US
