Job Title : Warehouse / Delivery Associate
Classification : Non-exempt
Reports to : Warehouse Manager
Supervision : No supervisory responsibilities
Salary Range : $14.00-$16.00 / hour depending on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary / Objective
Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment.
Essential Functions

1. Receives trucks and unloads merchandise.
2. Stacks merchandise on racks.
3. Checks in merchandise and affixes labels.
4. Matches purchase orders to sales orders and distributes to sales associates for processing.
5. Moves materials off racks and packages for shipment.
6. Places merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution.
7. Records amounts of materials or items received.
8. Carries out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager.
9. Identifies damaged, lost, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
10. Maintains records of all activities and processes pertaining to the storehouse.
11. Follows all safety codes.
Delivery Driver (as needed) :
1. Delivers goods to customers.
2. Confirms package(s) are not damaged.
3. Loads merchandise into van or truck.
4. Follows traffic signs to get to destination.
5. Reads and interprets maps and GPS directions.
6. Monitors traffic conditions to avoid delays.
7. Ensures address on package(s) matches up to delivery address.
8. Maintains logs of packages delivered.
9. Ensures inventory loads match shipping papers.
10. Performs daily pre-trip inspection on vehicle.
11. Maintains accurate daily log books for compliance under DOT.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse type environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
1. Must be able lift up to 50 lbs.
2. Must be able to push / pull up to 100 lbs.
3. Must be able to stand for long periods of time throughout the day.
4. Must be able to reach / grab / bend / stoop / climb / walk regularly on a daily basis.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Travel
There may be slight travel to client sites for delivery of products.
Required Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
2. 1 - 2 years’ warehouse / receiving experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Forklift experience

1. Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
2. Must have valid driver’s license
3. Ability to listen and communicate (written and verbal) effectively
4. Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
5. Ability to protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
6. Must be dependable and have good attendance.
