Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. We are seeking a full-time, first shift Auto Refurbishment Builder to complete warranty repairs and refurbishment of our previously owned vehicles.

Job responsibilities include:
- Completing minor mechanical and body component part replacement.
- Performing initial inspections of vehicles to prepare for reconditioning.
- Completing repairs required to recondition vehicles, which may include:
- Repairing lift gates
- Repairing/installing shelves and cabinets
- Troubleshooting/repairing wiring for lights and alarm systems
- Disassembling/repairing locks
- Replacing back-up cameras
- Using computer software to diagnose issues with the Espar heater system
- Driving trucks between various local repair facilities.
Requirements
Candidates should have these qualifications:
- Light Mechanical experience.
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve.
- Knowledge of carpentry and light electrical.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Organized, task-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a crew.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
