As a Career Coach, you will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and resources to individuals seeking career development and advancement. Your role will involve assisting clients in identifying their career goals, developing job search strategies, and enhancing their employability skills. Responsibilities: - Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs and goals - Assist clients in identifying their strengths, interests, and values to determine suitable career paths - Provide guidance on resume writing, cover letter preparation, and interview techniques - Conduct mock interviews to help clients improve their interview skills - Collaborate with employers and community organizations to develop job placement opportunities for clients - Stay updated on employment labor laws and regulations to provide accurate information to clients - Mentor and educate clients on workplace etiquette, professionalism, and effective communication skills - Work with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities to help them navigate the job market - Provide addiction counseling and support services for individuals seeking employment after rehabilitation - Collaborate with workforce development agencies to facilitate training programs and workshops for job seekers - Assist with recruiting efforts by identifying potential candidates for job openings Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience as a Career Coach or similar role - Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations - Excellent interviewing and counseling skills - Ability to mentor and educate individuals from diverse backgrounds - Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus - Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques is an asset - Knowledge of workforce development programs and resources - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously Note: All positions at our organization are paid positions, including internships.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
