POSITION SUMMARYThe incumbent in this position is a member of the production team and is responsible for tool setting, troubleshooting and repairing crimping machines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSInspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Perform first piece set-up validation, and ensure quality conformance.

Observe work and monitor gauges, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.

Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures.Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to proficiently use various company-related and external systems and databases.

Ability to work effectively with internal / external personnel, and customers.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage several tasks simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on manufacturing experience.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.Must be proficient with computers.
