Full-time position available for a Resource Specialist/Job Developer/ Housing Coordinator in Livingston County within the Prisoner Reentry program. 

The OS Resource Specialist/Job Developer/Housing Coordinator assists returning citizens in a successful transition from prison to the community through proactive professional support.  Position develops and coordinates resources with Parole and the community to address the unique needs of each returning citizen, as identified by the parole agent.  The OS Resource Specialist/Job Developer/Housing Coordinator will work with a diverse group of people, many of whom have disabilities, substance abuse histories and other special needs. Actively collaborates with the Community Coordinator, CSSW program staff, field agents, local landlords, and other local agencies to effectively coordinate services and communication across providers, increase client engagement, and improve client outcomes.

Associate degree in human service or related field is required. Bachelor’s degree with relevant human service college coursework preferred or one year experience in related field.  Current First Aid, CPR, SOAR, and Narcan training.

Total compensation includes comprehensive benefit plan with employer contribution, 401k retirement option, plus paid time off and paid holiday schedule that includes the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
