Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team for an exciting opportunity to enhance a customer-friendly Satellite time tracking system and potentially a user program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, particularly within the Hibernate framework, along with proficiency in SQL Server environments. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be eligible to work in the United States as a (GC) holder or U.S. Citizen (USC).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement solutions for enhancing the Satellite time tracking system and user program.
• Develop high-quality software code in Java, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Utilize Hibernate framework to efficiently manage data persistence and facilitate object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Work closely with SQL Server databases, writing optimized queries and procedures to support application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to maintain system integrity and performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• 5 years of experience working within the Hibernate framework environment.
• Proficiency in SQL Server database development and optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States as a (GC) holder or U.S. Citizen (USC).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in government or Satellite company projects.
• Additional skills such as familiarity with front-end technologies, Spring framework, or cloud platforms are a plus.
