Job Description:
A New Account Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by actively engaging with current clients and potential customers via in-person meetings, phone calls, and virtual communication. The New Account Sales representative plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining client relationships, driving revenue, and expanding The Catch-All’s market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential customers using various methods including cold calling, referrals, networking, and attending industry events.
- New Account Pipeline Management: Organize and track potential leads and prospects throughout the sales process.
- Trade Show New Account Leads: Prepare for trade shows, generate leads, conduct product demonstrations, and efficiently manage data in the sales pipeline.
- Client Visits: Meet with clients in person to understand their needs, present products, and build relationships.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and effectively communicate their features and benefits.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling in-person and virtual sales presentations to showcase the value of our products.
- Closing: Engage with clients to successfully close sales deals.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue quotas set by the company.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies and stay competitive.
- CRM Usage: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track client interactions, manage leads, and maintain accurate records.
- Reporting: Generate and maintain detailed sales reports and records to track progress and provide insights to management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and customer fulfillment, to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Communication Skills: Build rapport with clients and articulate the value of our products effectively through verbal communication.
- Problem Solving: Address customer issues or objections, find solutions, and adapt to various client needs and preferences.
- Trade Show Logistics: Oversee and execute the preparation, set-up, and tear-down processes for Trade Show booths.
Requirements:
- At least one year previous sales experience required, preferably in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to understand customer needs, address concerns, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Proficiency in networking and lead generation techniques, such as cold calling, referrals, and attending industry events, to identify and reach potential clients.
- The ability to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a sales pipeline, track leads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- The flexibility to adapt and be responsive to changing market conditions and sales strategies.
- The ability to collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and customer fulfillment.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other sales tools to track client interactions, manage leads, and maintain accurate records.
Compensation:
Base Pay: $15-19/hour plus commission
