Kitchen Manager manages the daily operations of the kitchen, which may include but not limited to: accounting, finance, staff working schedule, inventory control and equipment supplies. Responsible for employees' training. Being a Kitchen Manager oversees other departments that contribute to the operations of the kitchen. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Kitchen Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Kitchen Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. The primary purpose of this position is to lead engineering activities for plant operations. This individual will be key member of plant leadership team and will help set strategic direction for the plant operations. As an Engineering Manager this individual will lead, coach and develop plant engineering, maintenance and other technical resources. Key accountabilities include, plant capital management, existing asset and infrastructure reliability and management, and brand protection by providing technical leadership in human and food safety and sustainability initiatives.
Responsible for the safe implementation, installation, startup of capital projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will have direct report responsibilities. At times, may also be required to supervise the daily activities of other employees or contractors working on projects he/she is managing. In addition, the plant maintenance department will report to this position.
