Responsible for employees' training. Being a Kitchen Manager oversees other departments that contribute to the operations of the kitchen. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Kitchen Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Kitchen Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Kitchen Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Job Description

    We are looking for an Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s operations. The operations manager’s role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an operations manager include formulating strategy and improving performance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
    • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
    • Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue
    • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
    • Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course based on volume/growth
    • Recruit, train, and supervise staff
    • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service
    • Determine the operations schedule based on inbound materials, available labor, and install dates
    • Use sales forecasts to determine upcoming operational needs

    Requirements and skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
    • Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role
    • Experience in the construction industry is not required but is preferred
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Leadership ability
