Job Description:

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen to ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency. You will work closely with the Kitchen Manager and kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation while adhering to all sanitation and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor food production to maintain quality and consistency in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Train new kitchen employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance performance.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients.
• Enforce strict sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control initiatives.
• Handle any issues or conflicts that may arise in the kitchen, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
• Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures aimed at improving kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
