  • Summary: Responsible for overseeing center operations; provides necessary manpower, supplies, and tools; ensures operational, regulatory, legal, and financial procedures are followed properly. The Site Administrator is responsible for development, supervision, coordination and successful completion of center activities. This position is a working supervisor position and will be responsible for their assigned duties and the supervision of the assigned center(s).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintains their primary job function and oversee the operations and business functions of the center.
    • Maintains a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the center job functions in an effective and efficient manner. Interviews and recommends applicants for hire.
    • Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of staff; counsels, records and disciplines as necessary.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of assigned areas of responsibility; stays abreast of current events, knowledge, and technology in their field and the healthcare industry.
    • Provides support to Director of Imaging and acts as a member of the leadership team.
    • Conducts weekly staff meetings with employees.
    • Prepares and implements employee performance reviews, approval of paid time off requests, and insures coverage as necessary.
    • Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks.
    • Provides solid leadership for employees; promotes a positive attitude in center pride by actively and routinely interfacing with employees.
    • Evaluates work flow procedures and recommends improvements; handles escalated customer concerns.
    • Provides initial and ongoing training to subordinates.
    • Demonstrates business acumen; acts as a role model for employees; maintains the highest ethical standards.
    • Assures the centers comply with Desert Imaging policies and procedures, OSHA, local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) years experience working in a medical or healthcare facility.
    • Must have strong supervisory skills and knowledge in center operations.
    • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
    • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, and the general public.
    • Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional staff.
    • Must have cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as willingness to deal with staff and patients at various maturity levels. Must be able to maintain good staff relations and employee morale.
    • Must have advanced training in healthcare and administration.
    • Must be thoroughly familiar with laws, regulations, and guidelines governing personnel administration.
