Being a LAN/WAN Administrator takes initiative for the network security and systems upgrades. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, LAN/WAN Administrator typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The LAN/WAN Administrator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Database Administrator will support an active C-5M contract in Huntsville. Under direct supervision, will assist in the configuration, implementation, population, version control and maintenance of contractor and U.S. Government databases (primarily SharePoint). Track documents, graphics, deliveries and customer requests from the prime, subcontractors and client. In addition to the up and downloading conternt, will continuously monitor database performance, identify improvements and provide support for MS Office and third party applications.
