LAN/WAN Integrator is responsible for the overall plan, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of LAN/WAN integration into the network. Analyzes LAN/WAN and recommends upgrades/changes and security procedures and policies; assesses organization's current and future LAN/WAN needs. Being a LAN/WAN Integrator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The LAN/WAN Integrator typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a LAN/WAN Integrator typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Fluids Test Integrator III - New Glenn 2nd Stage (R38118)

  • This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth’s orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space.

    As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers & project managers, you will contribute to New Glenn's second stage integrated test campaign. You will integrate test execution efforts at a vehicle level of all subsystems in parallel with vehicle assembly & integration in preparation for launch. This includes defining integrated test parameters, providing test execution support, anomaly resolution, and authoring/coordinating the final test reports. We are looking for someone with a strong aerospace fluids background to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact the continued development of the New Glenn launch vehicle.

     

    To be successful in this role, you will need to facilitate and resolve integration and development issues between engineering teams. You will also engage with the design and test teams to ensure stage level testing supports verification and validation plans. Most importantly, you will push the team forward through key technical decisions and resolution of emergent issues. An ideal candidate will have experience with coordinated vehicle systems and understand how to plan, execute and integrate tests with a Fluids emphasis.     Responsibilities:

    • Report to director and be accountable for planning, execution and delivery of integrated test end-product

    • Provide program constraints and guidance to technical leads

    • Manage technical and programmatic risks and opportunities

    • Communicate status, critical paths, challenges, and recommended solutions

    • Provide technical guidance and authority over integrated stage testing

    • Support requirement decomposition and allocation, systems engineering, technical design, analysis, and verification/validation

    Qualifications:

    • B.S. in Engineering

    • Experience leading projects

    • Direct experience with test planning and execution

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Demonstrated technical expertise in fluid/mechanical systems, avionics, manufacturing, systems engineering, integration, and/or test

    • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion

    • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    Desired:

    • M.S. in engineering

    • Experience working in a Production Environment

    • Familiarity with typical aerospace vehicle integrated testing and verification / validation approaches

    • Experience with risk management, configuration management, requirements management processes

    • Experience across multiple portions of the product life cycle

    • Experience with launch vehicle or high performance aircraft systems

    • Experience with Primavera (P6), DOORS, CREO, Windchill
