Labor Relations Manager jobs in Frankfort, KY
Labor Relations Manager implements and maintains a company's labor relations programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures satisfactory labor-management relations and helps interpret collective bargaining agreements. Being a Labor Relations Manager leads grievance procedures including arbitrations and assists all levels of management on labor matters. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Labor Relations Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Labor Relations Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Labor Relations Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and local codes and regulations. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Pay is based upon experience
The following certifications are preferred: Fall Protection, Trenching Excavation, and Scissor Lift
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
- Coordinate with other trades and project teams to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly and on time
- Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, fixtures, and fittings
- Provide estimates for plumbing projects and materials
- Train and mentor apprentice plumbers
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
