Position Summary
Assists Flavorist’s activities in a timely manner as required to meet flavor development deadlines. Has the ability to work on projects with medium complexity for customer requests with assistance from Flavorist. Responsible for maintaining and cleaning laboratory and keeping stock of raw materials, laboratory supplies and solvents. Has a level of understanding of the customer base which the Flavorist supports and a cognitive sense of project activity and priorities. Has understanding of Flavor Regulatory and Legal compliance to support flavor projects activities and customer request. Assists application team by compounding flavor samples when required. Strong team player to interact, communicate and take direction from Teterboro flavorists, as well as interaction with other departments such as regulatory, QC, production, sensory, shipping and marketing. When necessary assist in the function of portfolio management for the beverage category.
