JOB SUMMARY:

Supervises and coordinates clerical support staff. Performs administrative duties to include staff assignments, technical assistance, employee evaluations, interviews ECT. Directs, orders and maintains administrative supply inventory. • Provides excellent customer support by providing the best service possible.
• Communicates relevant and pertinent information to the department and throughout the facility, to ensure optimal patient care, and that staff are aware of new initiatives and issues as they arise.
• Supervises departmental clerical activities, coordinates work schedules and ensures adequate clerical coverage.
• Performs all job duties with a focus on safety for the patient, self and co-workers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5 years of experience preferred in the following areas:
  • Medical Terminology
  • Basic computer skills to include use of Microsoft Office Suite and Cerner
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
