Job Description:
You will be the face of our Diagnostic Company stationed within one of our client medical offices. You will run this outreach location as a liaison for our company. The work you do will be for our company only but the majority of these duties will be performed within a client medical office as a service to the client. Responsibilities:
➢ Runs Diagnostic Tests according to established procedures.
➢ Responsible for completing ALL PAPERWORK accurately.
➢ Call clients to confirm handwritten orders, verify test(s) ordered, obtain accurate billing information, i.e. diagnosis codes, etc.
➢ Maintains required records and documentation.
➢ Reads, understands and complies with company policies, protocols and procedures: (i.e. Compliance, Procedures, Safety, Quality, etc.).
➢ Maintains all appropriate QA logs.
➢ Assist with compilation of monthly statistics and data. Submits data on time monthly.
➢ Perform basic clerical duties, i.e. filing, faxing, preparing mail. Will be required to perform electronic data entry.
➢ Assists company with overall workflow as needed.
➢ Follows grooming and dress codes and office policies, appearing neat and clean at all times.
➢ Reports on time to work, following attendance guidelines.
➢ Answers the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner.
➢ Communicates appropriately with clients, patients, coworkers and the general public.
➢ Communicates all unresolved problems immediately to the appropriate Manager/Supervisor for resolution. Remains cool under pressure.
➢ Keeps work area neat and clean.
➢ Help with inventories and other tasks as assigned.
➢ Stock supplies as needed.
➢ Performs other department-related clerical duties when assigned.
➢ Answers phone and dispatch calls when assigned.
➢ Participates on teams and special projects when asked.
➢ Ensures facilities are neat, clean and in good repair, takes appropriate action to advise Supervisor of required repairs and maintenance.
➢ Assist with periodic inventory counts, report shortages and problems to group leader or supervisor as they occur.
➢ Communicate professionally with clients and patients to resolve or refer, and document problems, prepare problem documentation and report critical issues as they occur.
➢ All other duties as assigned, within scope of the position.
Education: Prefer Associates Degree or Higher. High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training helpful - medical assistant, paramedic. Medical terminology helpful.
Work Experience: MA, Med Tech, Medical Office Tech or referral from a qualified training program. Keyboard/data entry experience. Customer service experience. Medical office experience is a must.
