The Space Dynamics Lab is comprised of an incredible workforce that works together to solve some of the most fascinating problems on, and off, our planet.  As part of our continued growth, the Human Resource department is establishing a new position that will support recruitment teams by providing essential administrative support.  This non-exempt position is full-time and is located onsite in North Logan, UT.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as an initial point of contact to create a favorable impression
• Provide overall monitoring to ensure potential candidates, and open positions, are moving efficiently through the staffing process
• Maintain proper organization and maintenance of candidate and position information  
• Work with hiring managers to update position advertisements, and candidate screening questions
• Coordinate with hiring managers for interview schedules, and start dates of new hires
• Ensure timely and accurate written and verbal communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the selection process
• Report data and information, such as open position status and the length of time from application to decision/communication, with candidates
• Support position close-out administrative tasks (e.g., reasons for non-selection)
• Help organize career fair resources and represent SDL at career fairs as needed
• Assist with candidate background checks
• Generate improvement ideas for strengthening SDL’s talent acquisition process

• High school diploma
• One or more years of related experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar role
• Familiarity with staffing elements such as advertising, sourcing, applicant tracking systems, screening, interviewing, and recordkeeping
• Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and secure records and information
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, scheduling and collaboration software)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in parallel
• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, of other US Person

• Previous talent acquisition experience in an engineering or technology environment
