Being a Laboratory Courier is responsible for maintenance and care of vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Laboratory Courier must be licensed to operate a vehicle. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are currently looking for independent contractors who would be willing to make deliveries for various businesses in the Ashland/Huntington area. This can be done in a car, minivan, truck, or cargo van and involves loading and unloading. Rates are weight and mileage adjusted. We try to work around all schedules and try to be as flexible as possible with other drivers.
