Laboratory Courier picks up and delivers medical specimens and packages for a laboratory. Ensures timely, safe, and accurate delivery. Being a Laboratory Courier is responsible for maintenance and care of vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Laboratory Courier must be licensed to operate a vehicle. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Extremely busy and expanding medical transportation company looking for experienced drivers with a reliable vehicle to service our clients. (Hospitals, labs and organ transplant industries in the Tri-State area) We operate 24/7-365 and are looking for experienced drivers to help cover all shifts across New Jersey area to help meet the needs of our busy clients. Full time and Part time drivers are encouraged to apply. Your schedule is based on your availability! We have built trusting relationships with our clients and drivers over the past 20 years and would love to have you join our team!
Requirements
- Reliable, low mileage vehicle. Higher pay for Van drivers!!
- Proper documents (SSC, Driver's License, Vehicle insurance & Vehicle registration)
- Working knowledge of the area
- GPS / phone to use while out on jobs
- Android phones are a plus, but not necessary.
- Willing to come out and work hard
- Good communication skills
- Excellent Hygiene (again, we service doctors and hospitals so this is a must!)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.15 per hour 50cent every mile and tolls.
