Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front office reception and administrative duties in a fast-paced office.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a high-volume environment
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Provide accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures

Experience:

The successful candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Effective communication / organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Calm, friendly demeanor and enjoy working with people
- Basic computer knowledge (we will train you on our software program)
- Previous high volume phone experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of basic dental terminology is a plus
- Basic office equipment operation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required

Sherer Dental Lab has 55 successful years in the industry and offers a great working environment, medical and dental / vision benefits, 401k, paid vacations / holidays / sick time and more. Hours will be 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 7:45 AM – 12:45 PM on Friday.
