The IS Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of department-specific projects as well as facilitating department participation in cross-functional initiatives. The Project Manager collaborates with IS Leadership to create, organize, execute, and complete specific projects. This includes performing discovery, managing tasks, facilitating deadlines, communicating with IS Leadership about the state of said projects, and ensuring projects stay on track; elevates project risks in a timely, appropriate manner. The Project Manager serves as liaison between departments as it relates to project scope, schedule, risk, quality, and resources. The Project Manager facilitates process improvement initiatives at the direction of IS Leadership. The IS Project Manager will develop and maintain the Project Management System, and Project Portfolio. He/she shall be responsible for developing processes based on industry best practices to perform all aspects of a successful project lifecycle from intake to close.
