Laboratory Information Systems Coordinator coordinates, develops, and maintains the scope and performance of laboratory information systems projects. Maintains project documentation by formulating and implementing policies and procedures. Being a Laboratory Information Systems Coordinator maintains and updates the system. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Laboratory Information Systems Coordinator typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Company Overview:
Odyssey is working with a manufacturing company to find an experienced ERP Systems Programmer/Analyst to join the team as a SME over the Info XA Applications (formerly MAPICS). This person will have specific experience understanding, using, and supporting this application and will have worked in manufacturing; Please see full details below. Additionally, this role can be located in Montgomery, AL. There will be 25% occasional travel that will decrease over time.
Position Overview: We seek an experienced Infor XA SME to oversee the maintenance and updating of our Infor XA software. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the application, exceptional management skills for external resources, and proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the Infor XA application.
- Manage external resources and consultants involved in Infor XA projects.
- Develop and customize reports using Infor XA integrated reporting tools.
- Integrate Infor XA with other systems and applications within the IT landscape.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated competency in RPG, RPGLE, CL for IBM iSeries, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, and XA Enterprise Integrator.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of integration technologies and techniques.
- Experience in developing and customizing reports.
- Infor certifications are a plus.
