Laboratory Manager manages the daily activities of the laboratory. Develops laboratory policies and procedures and issues updates as needed. Being a Laboratory Manager plans and designs experiments. Estimates the time and resources needed to complete projects. Additionally, Laboratory Manager orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Laboratory Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Laboratory Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Interpath Laboratory is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and people-oriented individual to join our growing Business Development and Sales team!The Business Development Representative will be primarily responsible for sales growth within the Western Washington Territory. Call points include Women’s Health, Oncology, Pathology, Pain Management, Behavior Health, Hospitals and others that need clinical lab, anatomical pathology and have esoteric needs. 

     

    Responsibilities: 

    • Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals 
    • Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan that will enable Interpath to gain market share and achieve sales goals in the territory 
    • Schedule frequent in-person and virtual client visits to promote Interpath’s product portfolio 
    • Leverage HC1 (CRM) and other data sources for commercial sales metrics and customer management
    • Effectively manage a funnel of leads and opportunities in CRM and provide an accurate monthly sales forecast and territory narrative 
    • Build and maintain deep relationships with key thought leaders and influential industry leaders in the given geography. Must be proficient at selling at all levels, including C-Suite
    • Attend regional or national sales meetings as needed  

    What we offer:

    • Generous compensation with a base range of $75,000 - $100,000. Successful BDR's can expect to earn an annual income of around $200,000 (base commission)

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5 years industry sales experience and deep knowledge in a relevant industry/commercial environment (clinical-anatomical lab, pharma, diagnostics medicine)
    • Multiple sales award winner with a demonstrated track record of success
    • Existing relationships and local knowledge of Clinical, Anatomical and Pathology specialties
    • CRM-based pipeline management experience
    • Proven success with new product launches and driving new business in a highly competitive and complex market
    • Demonstrated success working in a highly matrixed environment with the ability to influence stakeholders
    • The ability to travel up to 70% of the time for internal and external meetings
    • Pass all required product and sales training courses 
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in life science or business field preferred

    General Physical Requirements

    Sales professionals must be able to: enter and exit their assigned vehicle repeatedly and be able to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 2 hours nonstop; load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved; drive in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather; and occasionally kneel, bend, and stoop in order to perform vehicle inspections.  

    OSHA Category: This position performs tasks that involve minimal exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series but for this position, it is optional.
