    We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager, Laboratory Services to join our team in Billerica, MA. This individual will provide critical coordination of client projects to ensure deliverables not only meet but exceed client expectations. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with Laboratory Services leadership to organize, collect, and prepare information and data for the program and be a primary point of contact to the Accelerator commercial team for client/project logistical needs.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Responsible for internal and external communication to clearly define a project’s scope, milestones, updates, delays, and deliverables, and escalate issues appropriately
    • Primary interface between Accelerator lab commercial team and clients for project updates, issues, deliverables, and scope changes in an effective manner.
    • Host and lead client meetings and teleconference calls
    • Maintain project plans and meeting minutes for projects
    • Forecast revenue expected from multiple projects being managed
    • Work with the laboratory and commercial team to determine testing capabilities for incoming projects and create Statements of Work
    • Work with testing operations team to prioritize and coordinate execution of projects, including ordering of materials, determining appropriate skill level of team members, scheduling of tasks and preparing reports
    • Maintain accurate and up to date information and data to assist Accelerator leadership in preparation of performance and quality metrics

    What We’ll Expect From You: 

    • 3-5 years of experience in life science or laboratory setting
    • 2 years in a project management role with client facing responsibilities, preferably related to a product or service in the life sciences
    • Bachelor’s degree required. Biochemistry, biology, or related area preferred.
    • Superior organizational skills and the ability to rapidly learn new scientific concepts
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are in process and must be completed in a timely manner under minimal supervision
    • Thrive in a highly dynamic, team oriented environment with ability to multi-task and manage fluid priorities
    • Driven to provide superior customer service to internal and external clients
    • Communicate and interact professionally with clients and company staff
    • Self-guided, motivated, and possesses a strong sense of initiative
    • Keen attention to detail and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
    • Effectively curate metric data and prepare summary information for program and senior management
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Proficient use of computer and Microsoft software programs
    • Experience with Salesforce, ERP, and project management software desirable
