The Acute Care Laboratory Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the laboratory operations and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely diagnostic services. The ideal Acute Care Lab Manager candidate will possess strong leadership skills, in-depth technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Working in collaboration with the tenured Laboratory Director, the Manager will be overseeing a talented team of Clinical Laboratory Scientists and technicians. 

Managing day to day laboratory operations, ensuring compliance and overseeing the procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies will be a few of the responsibilities for the Acute Care Laboratory Manager. Additional responsibilities will include providing strategic direction and leadership to the laboratory team, developing curriculum to support staff to enhance their skills and implementing quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy. 

A certified laboratory scientist with strong clinical leadership experience will surely make for a quick interview.
