We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our team as a Intake Coordinator/ Admin Assistant. The primary role of the Drug Collector is to collect urine, saliva, blood, or other samples from individuals for drug testing purposes. The ideal candidate will be organized, discreet, and have a strong understanding of confidentiality protocols in the medical field. This is a vital position within our healthcare facility, and we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in laboratory procedures and has experience with specimen collection processing. Need someone that can problem solve and can work on there own with limit supervision.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Collect samples (urine, saliva, blood, etc.) from individuals for drug testing
- Verify the identity of individuals and ensure proper chain of custody procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate records of samples collected and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of collection area
- Communicate effectively with clients and individuals undergoing testing in a professional and empathetic manner
1. Receiving and logging in samples as they arrive at the laboratory.
2. Ensuring proper documentation and labeling of specimens.
3. Verifying patient information and test orders.
4. Organizing and prioritizing sample processing based on urgency and test requirements.
5. Following standard operating procedures for sample handling and storage.
6. Collaborating with laboratory staff and clinicians to resolve any discrepancies or issues with samples.
7. Maintaining accurate records of sample intake and processing.
8. Adhering to quality control and safety protocols.
9. Communicating effectively with patients, clinicians, and other relevant stakeholders regarding sample status and results.
Administrative Duties:
1. Creating and curating engaging content for various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
2. Developing social media strategies to increase audience engagement and enhance brand recognition.
3. Monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels.
4. Managing social media advertising campaigns to drive website traffic and generate leads.

Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in phlebotomy or a related field
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory procedures
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
Working Conditions:
This position may require standing for extended periods of time and occasional lifting of sample containers. The Drug Collector may also be required to work in various settings, including medical facilities, offices, and on-site locations.
